CAMPFIRE STORY

“Great location close to the Mississippi. Smack in the middle of all the beautiful scenery and lots of fun stuff to do.  Owners are very friendly.  Park is very clean and has everything you could need. Restaurant on site has great food.”

Red Barn Restaurant

Same great place, with some amazing updates

Under new ownership, Red Barn has been undergoing major renovations. We have a brand new kitchen, full-service bar, and a new menu. Come in and enjoy good food and fun cocktails. We’re adding an outdoor patio where you can relax with friends AND keep an eye on the kids at the playground.

 Come and visit us!

a visit to remember

Make memories and come back for more.

At Red Barn, there’s something for everyone. We offer the most scenic camping experience in the area. Mature trees, nature trails, and a trout stream.

We’re not just a place to park your camper or rent a cabin. You won’t want to leave once you’re here. When you visit the campground, you’ll feel like you’re in a private village - because you are. We have family-friendly activities, entertainment for the kids, and R&R for the adults. But if you need to get out, there are plenty of local attractions.

What’s in the Red Barn?

The Red Barn is a converted early 1900s dairy barn. It’s been a Lansing icon for many, many years. Today it’s the heart of Red Barn Campground and Restaurant. It provides a rustic environment for our bar and grill. It also houses the campground office and plenty of fun for the kids.

There’s a lot of history in this place. It was owned by the same family for many years. Red Barn opened as a campground in 1970. It was the hub for fun and activity for many families and clubs. The guests treated the place like it was their home, because, for the season, it was. The same families came back year after year to their home away from home.

Today, Red Barn Campground and Restaurant is under new ownership, but the tradition of being open to the public continues. Many of those first visitors still return to Red Barn every summer, and so do their kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

New friends are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you soon!
